I absolutely love leather. Nice, clean, quality made leather shoes, jackets, bags and belts. Leather looks awesome new and even better with years of wear. So, I want this belt.

Abraxas Rex was founded and is designed by artist Paris Kain. The designs are amazing and they have a very unique style. They also merge stones from earth and outer space!
‘Untitled’, the latest campaign from Insight, has just been released! It’s brimming with installations from Garage Artists; short films by artists and team riders; and unique imagery shot by photographer Mike Piscitelli.
Noemi Klein is a jeweller who started her craft in creative East London in 2004. She first started designing and working with metal after being given a cast off piece of machinery by her dentist father, combining her inherited attention to detail and fascination with fancy tools with finding an outlet for her love of fashion, precious materials and unusual imagery.
Pieces from the current collection are exquisitely detailed and multilayered, featuring diverse figural and floral imagery and reworking elements from vintage Jewellery and combining them with an array of precious materials such as silver, gold, coral and semiprecious stones. Noemi Klein Jewellery is entirely handmade by the designer in her East London studio, creating unique but wearable pieces that are often one-offs.
You’ll find a list of stockists on Noemi’s website.
Ayaka Nishi makes some amazing jewelery that are more like pieces of art. I like anything relating to bones… so I love her latest collection.
from her site…
“Inspired by the simple beauty found in the shapes and forms of the natural world, Ayaka Nishi endeavors to create jewelry of unparalleled beauty and exquisite craftsmanship. A unique feature of her works is that they exist simultaneously on two levels: they serve as compliments to the wearer’s wardrobe while at the same time they stand alone as singular works of art.”
I think every creative on the planet can tell you a story about how someone; a start-up business, a big business, a self professed entrepreneur or even a close friend has asked them to work for free or for a beer or for ‘more work in the future’. Take note anyone asking for creative services:
ASSUMING NO VALUE IN A CREATIVES WORK, NO MATTER WHAT FIELD, IS LIKE SPITTING IN THEIR FACE.
Thanks to Gerry Mak from Lost at Eminor for finding this.

Wrangler’s new spring/summer Red Campaign celebrates our primal urges. Powerfully raw and visceral, this latest instalment of the ‘We Are Animals’ brand platform captures men and women in the heart of the moment, saturated in red water or caught in a fury of red dust.
Their new Blue Bell site is definitely worth entertaining also.
My mate Freddy has the official opening of his shop in Subiaco, Western Australia, tonight. Him and I have gotten together and produced a rad line of tees. “Started in 2008, an artisan hub for designer information and fashion resource, Assembly New York is a mens and womens boutique focusing on international and otherwise hard-to-find luxury labels alongside curated vintage and art d’objet. Many of the articles are the result of collaborations with designers and are exclusive to our New York location and website.
In 2009 Assembly introduced the in-house collection, designed by owner Greg Armas. This collection is a unisex and uniform range, combining exclusively natural and historic fabrics in a spirit of a future-primitive instinct; utilizing the organic technology of those survivalists before us. Garments of linen, cashmere, and fine cotton with leather and pure silk details (fur-lined pockets, suede-lined waistbands..) are intended to create comfort and durability, allowing each piece to stand on its own and achieve archival quality. Subtlety is paramount and design details are concealed and personal, available only to the wearer. All garments are handsewn in New York City and are available year round in varying and appropriate fabric selections.”
I was out and about the other day and spotted an unreal necklace that tempted me to don the metal for the first time in a while… then I stumbled across an amazing jeweller, Pamela Love. Whilst checking out her latest lookbook and her stack of colabs I found the piece I went crazy over instore! Check out her work.

“The Danish Arts Foundation has awarded Henrik Vibskov with 50.000 dkk for “The Solar Donkey Experiment Show” which took place in Søndermarken park on the 7th of August during the Copenhagen Fashion Week. The explanation for the award is as follows:
“Far away from other catwalks of Copenhagen fashion week, with their “invitation only” shows, Henrik Vibskov took over Søndermarken where he presented his latest collection to anyone who showed up. The award is especially given for the coherence between the collection and the show.
A wide range of colors, materials and styles were displayed. There was clothing that bordered on costume, but without compromising it’s wearability. In every possible way a complete youthful and untamed colection for both men and women. The surprising stage, that only consisted of a tall grassed field surrounded by the tall dark trees of the park, was very appropriate to Vibskov’s collection. In this natural scenery he seated hundreds of beer-drinking spectators and everyone was welcome.
The appetite for a fascinating experience was aroused by the walk to the show location through the lantern lit route of the park. On the way one could see live installations showing ludicrous costumes that Henrik wanted to show – although they weren’t part of this years collection. The smell of incense and dew perfectly suited the content of the show. The music driving the donkeys – and at times the audience – mad, was also suiting. The vibe was more campfire than fashion which was very appropriate. The event was an informal, curious and uplifting moment in Danish fashion when it is at it’s most compelling.” “
“born in south of france 24 years ago, and now a recent resident of melbourne, estelle dévé has always been interested in jewellery and its different forms of interpretation. self-taught, she is just to launch the fruits of her first chapter in jewellery design. her debut collection: “for j.d, with love and squalor”, serves as homage to the acclaimed j.d salinger, writer of the classic piece of fiction “the catcher in the rye”. using pewter casting of found objects as well as dramatically heavy gold and black metal chains, the collection reinterprets through jewellery design, events and characters of the 1953 book of novels, “for esmé –with love and squalor”. one item of jewellery has been designed for each novel of the book. as an example, the novel “down at the dinghy” tells the story of a mother that only manages to communicate with her young son by pretending that they both are u.s navy officers: the “down at the dinghy” ring is made out of two broken u.s navy rings (a small & a big one) cast together symbolizing both characters and attempts at communication.”
