Iain Macarthur

Iain’s work is described as surreal and unique in its own way. Using mostly pencil, watercolours and pigment pens he creates portraits of ordinary people but create them in an unusual way by embelishing patterns and watercolour effects into the portrait to give a vivid explosion effect. Making there faces from something plain to somthing entirely bizzare and wonderful at the same time.

Kate Toropygina

I stumbled across Kate’s character illustrations on Behance and I now have several new super hero crushes. These girls are amazing and damn sexy! Kate resides in Kiev, Ukraine. Her website (or atleast the link from Behance) isn’t in english so I can’t tell you anything more about her. But her work is slick. I also think hooded capes need to start making an appearance in suitable fashion collections.

We Are Handsome

Handsome swimwear is not just your run-of-the-mill swimwear.

Each piece is made by hand, with the finest quality Italian Lycra, printed with high density inks using a placement sublimation process which is tedious to say the least.

Each design is a limited edition. Some are sourced from 000’s of retro images and some designed by their in-house artist often using dozens of images to get the look and feel just right.

Collection of Cool is a great new shopping space in the vast clutter of online boutiques. The store has just launched and strives to provide a retail experience not found elsewhere.  All their products have a design edge, are unique, interesting and not readily available in mainstream stores… so now you know why I like them!  Besides the obvious rwtail therapy Collection of Cool offers, its also an amazingly slick and style’n designed website with great usability.
